SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA might be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it really is alarmed about the superior amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out click here to a substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area every day. The company stage developed for intervention activities a substantial inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to allow the servicing of all clients and boost access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
